Love for Venice
My love for Venice was a very last minute trip - a friend had been solo travelling quite lot around Europe and on this particular trip wanted some company she was thinking of going to Venice it was £200 for a flight, train & accommodation so i instantly said "YES", nothing was stopping me ! - a weekend in Venice was wonderful and considering it was spring it was actually rather warm when the sun was shining bright - I've never been to an island or well any where that the mode of transport was a boat taxi to get around and see the sits and explore the place ever day - 4 days surrounded by the sea in canals was just a whole new experience for me - most peculiar but it was great ! - Venice was beautiful, the colours, the restaurants all lined up along the canal edge - the small alleyways, the cobbled tiles and all the small bridges connecting each section together, the places we just happened to stumble upon where the best treats - and never to be found the second day - homemade pasta and pesto, fresh olives, the tea and coffee & the PIZZA, the wine was just incredible. the architecture and colors where just beautiful something quite like a movie - half the time it did just look like a set, the history in each building and the attention to detail in every monument so well crafted and so lovely.
Of COURSE !!! i took my Camera- both in fact DSLR & Analogue - i do have a very fond attachment to my Analogue i just find the photo quality comes out so much better and when looking at he photo you feel like your there its just a touch away - B&W film is especially perfect for capturing documentary photography - candid street shots ! (well that's my opinion anyway ! )
My 2 loves powering away together photography & Travel making me try something new in life and to see, experience and find more
- JUST PERFECT along with on this trip a dear friend which i thoroughly enjoyed the weekend with ! being a very big travel Lover as well as myself
