AI Usage at Tia Cook Photography
1. Purpose
As a wedding photographer, my role is to capture and preserve real moments from your wedding day. I may occasionally use AI tools to support parts of my business, but never in a way that replaces my creative judgement, personal service, or the authenticity of your photographs.
This policy explains how I use AI, where I choose not to use it, and the steps I take to protect your privacy and trust.
2. What I Will Use AI For
I may use AI as a supportive tool for low-risk business tasks such as:
-
Brainstorming ideas for blog posts, social media captions, or marketing content.
-
Organising workflows and administrative tasks.
-
Researching general business topics and generating ideas.
-
Improving the clarity, spelling, or structure of written content.
Any content created with AI will be reviewed and edited by me before being used.
3. What I Will NOT Use AI For
To protect my clients and maintain the authenticity of my work, I will not use AI for:
-
Uploading or sharing client photographs for AI image generation, image manipulation, or AI training purposes.
-
Uploading personal or sensitive information belonging to me or my clients.
-
Uploading payment information, banking details, invoices, card information, or financial records belonging to me or my clients.
-
Replacing personal communication with automated AI chatbots. When you email, message, or speak with me, you are communicating with me directly.
4. Data and Privacy
Client privacy is extremely important to me.
I will not upload client galleries, wedding photographs, contracts, payment information, or confidential documents into AI systems for analysis or generation purposes.
5. Human Review
AI can make mistakes, provide inaccurate information, or generate content that sounds correct but is not.
I remain fully responsible for all final decisions, communications, and work delivered to my clients.
6. Transparency with Clients
If AI has been used in a meaningful way to support a piece of client-facing content, I am happy to explain how it was used.
AI may assist with behind-the-scenes administrative or writing tasks, but the photography, editing decisions, and client experience remain led by me.
My photographs represent real moments from your wedding day and are not generated by AI.
7. Review and Updates
Technology is changing quickly, and so is the way creative businesses work. I will review this policy periodically and update it when necessary to reflect changes in my business practices, client expectations, and the AI tools available to me. Any updates will continue to prioritise authenticity, privacy, and trust.
